Bio
Homework are: O. Kass (vocals, guitar, synths), R. Baird (vocals, guitar, synths), R. Kass (drums), A. Dennis (bass).
With their sharp blend of synth breaks, acutely observed lyrics and immediately infectious hooks, Homework have been steadily gaining momentum since the release of their acclaimed debut offering Sleepless Nights in 2009.
Spending the bulk of 2010 developing their sound, they re-emerged as a bolder, more coherent voice in early 2011. A hectic summer schedule saw the four-piece deliver standout performances across a range of key Scottish festivals including Wickerman, Belladrum ,goNORTH, The Edge Festival and Insider. They closed the year with the release of the mini-album All That Glitters to a strong response from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio Scotland, as well as being invited to play at the Belgian industry showcase event Glimps.
The band are currently working on their debut album, scheduled for release this autumn.

“hard locked-in kraut-y grooves…they make me think of Holy Fuck, only with songs. But, kinda trippy chantalong songs.” – Wickerman 2011, Is This Music
Praise for All That Glitters

Praise for Sleepless Nights
“the kind of thing that Elbow would be making if they’d been listening to Aereogramme rather than Coldplay. For once, an EP with no filler and given the many highs on this, very well worth seeking out…an epic effort” – **** Is This Music
“the kind of sonic entertainment you wouldn’t want to ignore…it would appear a wise bet to keep ‘em peeled for Homework in 2010″ – The Skinny – January 2010
“Homework remain one of the most exciting new bands around and there was more than enough offered tonight to ensure expectations remain high for their debut release. Fantastic.” – Alexander Smith, Hi-Arts July 2010
